Course Registration


Registration is closed.  You are welcome to register on site.

The purpose of this course is to provide an update on important topics in the field of gastroenterology with a specific focus on endoscopy.  Through a series of didactic lectures, expert faculty will review these topics and will answer questions.



Upon completion of this course the participant should be able to:
  1. Implement techniques to intubate the cecum in difficult colonoscopies;
  2. Remove large polyps effectively and safely;
  3. Manage large bile duct stones;
  4. Explain the treatment options for perforations, leaks and fistula;
  5. Appropriately code procedures.

Travel Grants will be available to the first thirty registrants.  In order to be eligible for the travel grant you must register for and attend the Fellows' Course and the Kansas City Live Endoscopy Course that follows. Additionally, you must provide all appropriate paperwork required for reimbursement. Information on insuring you receive your grant in a timely manner is provided in the guidelines document.

FEES

Registration is required in order for you to be considered for a travel stipend.  There is no charge for the course but you must attend the Fellows' Course and the Live Endoscopy Course to receive the stipend.  Registration includes course materials, continental breakfast, lunch, refreshments and continuing education credit.

All participants will be registered for the KC LIve Endoscopy Course 2018 that will follow.

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY

A full refund of registration fees, less a $15 administrative fee, will be available if requested in writing and received by April 13, 2018. No refunds will be made after that date. A $30 fee also will be charged for returned checks. (Please note that if you fail to cancel by the deadline and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.) KUMC Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel the Kansas City Live Endoscopy Course 2018 and return all fees in the event of insufficient registration. The liability of the University of Kansas is limited to the registration fee. The University of Kansas will not be responsible for any losses incurred by registrants, including but not limited to airline cancellation charges or hotel deposits.
