‘This is the best rated GI program held in the Kansas City metro area for the past 16 consecutive years. It is attended by more than 75 gastroenterologists and endoscopists of the region and receives a lot of positive feedback. Since many practicing physicians cannot attend DDW, they really look forward to this program to get an update’

Each topic will include presentation and discussion of 10-12 clinically important and seminal abstracts presented during DDW 2017 in Chicago, IL by the speaker followed by an interactive question/answer session discussing recent relevant issues in gastrointestinal diseases for clinical gastroenterologists.

  1. Assess the impact of novel treatment modalities in patients with ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease.
  2. Evaluate responses in patients with GERD, eosinophilic esophagitis and celiac disease.
  3. Describe the new developments in screening, surveillance diagnosis and treatment of colon cancer, Barrett’s esophagus and GI bleeding.
